We invite the public to join us at our next Board Meeting, which is scheduled for August 27th. The meeting is held in the AUSD Board Room (1515 West Mission Road in Alhambra) and the public portion of the meeting will begin at 6:00pm. To watch the meeting via Zoom, please CLICK ON THE HEADLINE.

All members of the AUSD family are welcome to attend the Swearing-In Ceremony for the 2024-2025 Student Board Member Keiko Rakin (AHS junior) and Student Board Member Alternate Madison Kang (MKHS senior). The ceremony will take place at the beginning of the August 27th Board Meeting (6:00pm). At that meeting, the 12 students of the Student Advisory Council will be formally introduced to the public. Afterwards, the Board will take brief recess for a celebratory reception in the their honor.

At the August 27th Board of Education meeting, there will be two staff reports presented: (1) Bullying and Disciplinary Practices Overview and (2) Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS) Plan Update. We welcome questions from community members on either of these report topics. These questions will be used as we finalize the presentation and to guide discussion by the board members. Hey there Vikings! May is Mental Health Appreciation Month! Check out our calendar of suggested activities to engage in, promoting strong mental health! It's our last month of the school year and we look forward to heading in to summer with a healthy mind and body!
