SCHOOLS ARE SCHEDULED TO REOPEN ON MONDAY 01/13/25. Please read the letter from the Superintendent for more information. If circumstances change, we will notify families and staff members over the weekend. (NOTE: Translations of the letter are forthcoming.)

All AlhambraUSD schools will CONTINUE to be CLOSED on FRIDAY, JANUARY 10, 2025. SMS (text) messages and emails were sent to parents and staff members. If you did not receive the email, please CLICK ON THE HEADLINE to download a copy of the letter. Schools will REOPEN ON MONDAY (January 13, 2025).

We are offering a “Grab & Go” meal to ANY AUSD student TODAY (Friday, January 10, 2025) at two locations: William Northrup School (409 S. Atlantic Blvd. in Alhambra) & Ynez School (120 S. Ynez Ave. in Monterey Park) from 11:30am until 12:30pm, or until we run out of food. Parents can park in the school’s parking lot and walk to the distribution tables. (This is NOT a drive-through pick-up.) Parents will be asked to show their child’s ID or state their child’s student ID # or full name. (NOTE: We suggest you wear a mask and glasses/sunglasses to help protect you from dust/smoke when you venture outdoors.)

GREETINGS VIKING PARENTS! We invite you to attend our upcoming ELAC meeting on October 24th from 4:15 to 5:00. The zoom link is on the attached flyer! These meetings have valuable information that will assist you in supporting your student on their academic path! Hope to see you there!

AUSD is promoting a healthier, more focused environment for learning by limiting cell phone usage.
